Mahindra Bolero: Price vs Value

Mahindra Bolero has been one of the most successful vehicles from the company. The new Mahindra Bolero has received a new engine, mHawkD70, which claims to deliver 13% more power as compared to the standard one. Even on the mileage ground, the rugged SUV seems to deliver 5% more.

Mahindra Bolero price starts from Rs 7.2 lakh and goes up to Rs 9 lakh for the top-end trim. Mahindra Bolero Power Plus, the new version of the Bolero, comes in three variants that derive the power from the same mHawkD70 motor, while the regular version is powered by the 2.5-litre m2DiCR engine. In terms of fuel economy, Bolero Power Plus stands out the most as it also offers fuel-saving Micro Hybrid technology apart from the regular stuff.

Mahindra Bolero Exterior

Mahindra Bolero comes with a new and stylish front grille along with a muscular bumper that highlights the overview appearance of the car. The rear profile seems to be more sophisticated with newly designed curved tail lights. In addition, to enhance the appeal of the exterior look, the manufacturer offers a well-contoured door handles. Mahindra Bolero comes with a 2.5-litre m2DiCR engine that delivers a maximum power of 62 bhp at 3,200 revolutions per minute and peak torque of 195 Nm between 1,400 to 2,200 revolutions per minute. Among all the variants, the most powerful one is the Bolero Power Plus, which is powered by the reliable 1.5-litre mHawk engine that develops 8bhp more than the regular. However, the torque figure remains the same for both. The power, thus, developed is transferred to the wheels via the conventional five-speed manual unit.

Comfort & Convenience

For comfort and convenience, the carmaker has ensured a number of features that include heater & demister, power windows, power steering, the armrest on the second-row seats, air conditioner and keyless entry. Apart from these, the users will also have the option to charge their mobile phones as the car gets a 12V charging point.
